How To Play

If you have logged in using the form at the top right of the page you then have access to the members BCFC Fanzine Prediction League.
How to join

You can become a member in the, become a member section just fill in your details. You can then use the prediction league. If you do not want your Email address to be shown set the 'Show Email address' to no.


Making a Prediction

To make a prediction choose the matches you want to predict from the Predictions page from the members section. When the match details are displayed enter your prediction for the result and, if you want to, the scorers (initial and surname) of the goals in that game. Once you are happy with the prediction press the submit button at the bottom of the page.

Changing your Prediction

You can update any prediction you have already made the day before the football match is played. Just go to the Prediction page and click on update prediction and alter you prediction.


Prediction Deadline

You can make predictions for any match up to one day before the scheduled kick off.

How points are scored

Points are awarded based on the accuracy of your prediction as follows:

4 points for a correct result.
If you predict the correct result (home win, away win, draw) for a game you will be awarded 4 points.

2 points for each correct team score.
If you predict that a team will score 3 goals and they do you will be awarded 2 points. These are in addition to points for a correct result. A correct 1-1 prediction will gain you 8 points.


1 point for a each correct scorer.
If you correctly predict one of the goal scorers you will gain a bonus point. If a player scores more than one goal you only get points if you predicted that he would score more than one goal.

Points deductions

If you are more than 2 goals out on a individual team score you will lose one point for additional goal you are out. If you predicted that a team would score 2 goals and they score 5 you will lose 1 point.


Scorer's Names

When predicting the names of players you need to give their first initial and surname. Example(D.Sonner).You must use the correct spelling of a player's name to score a point.

If two players have the same surname on a team and you predict that one will score you will only get the point if the initial coincides with the person scoring.

Challenging Scores

If you believe that you have not been awarded the correct points total for a prediction you can send an email to bcfc@royalwd.com and ask for it to be checked. If you do this remember to include details of which match you want the score checked for.

Changing Your Details

General Information

All changes to the details the BCFC Fanzine Prediction League has on file can be changed at the Customise Details section. In order to make changes you need to know your original email address and password. If you have forgotten your password you can request that it be emailed to you also from the Customise Details section.

Changing Your Email Address

The BCFC Fanzine Prediction League uses your Email address to uniquely identify you. If you change your Email address you should visit the Customise Details section and enter your new email address.


Making Your Details Public

In order to protect your privacy The BCFC Fanzine Prediction League does not make your email address available. If you would like other members to be able to send you an email you can make your information available to them by changing the setting in the Customise Details section.
